Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wabricio Ferdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuya Yasumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferdum comes to the cage accompanied by PARIS - the devil made me do it. Yasumi has chosen Lunchmoney Lewis-Real Thing as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferdum throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ferdum pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Yasumi is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Ferdum throws a body punch but Yasumi moves out of range.
Yasumi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Ferdum jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ferdum misses with a hook
and Yasumi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Some wild striking there from Ferdum.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferdum feints a jab promting Yasumi to slip. Ferdum then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Yasumi slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Katsuya Yasumi has been cut.

Ferdum moves into range and clinches up with Yasumi.
Ferdum misses with some punches.
Yasumi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ferdum wants to clinch but Yasumi slips to the side
and Yasumi counters with a takedown into side control.

Yasumi throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Ferdum!

Ferdum breaks Yasumi's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Ferdum is looking to work some ground and pound but Yasumi has wrist control.
Yasumi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Yasumi manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Yasumi tightens his grip and picks Ferdum up, before dumping him to the ground. Ferdum manages to land in guard.
Ferdum wants to sweep but no luck.
Yasumi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ferdum swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ferdum is trying to control the position but Yasumi postures up.
Yasumi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Yasumi tries to advance to mount but can't.
Ferdum looking for a sweep but Yasumi has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Ferdum keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Ferdum is squirming around, avoiding Yasumi's attempts to control the action.
Ferdum tries to hold on but Yasumi pushes him away.
Ferdum is looking to improve his position but Yasumi isn't that keen on the idea.

Yasumi landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ferdum is trying to get back to full guard.
Yasumi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Yasumi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yasumi lands a couple of digs.

Yasumi dodges the punch combination from Ferdum.
A countering left hand to the body from Yasumi misses.
Ferdum closes the distance but Yasumi moves to the side
and Yasumi counters with a double leg that slams his opponent to the canvas! Ferdum is in trouble here! Yasumi pounds away until the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Katsuya Yasumi!
A very excited looking Katsuya Yasumi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
