Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kashmhir Bakr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wade Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kashmhir Bakr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wade Wallace! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace dives in and grabs Bakr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bakr pushes down on Wallace's head and hops out. Wallace with a lazy takedown attempt and Bakr counters with a straight right hand. Bakr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Wallace punching from the bottom.
Bakr is taking a breather. Wallace says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bakr is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bakr is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bakr thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bakr throws a body shot but no joy. Bakr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bakr working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wallace desperately trying to maintain half guard. Wallace wants to control but Bakr is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bakr throwing shots but Wallace is blocking nicely. Bakr lands strikes from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wallace trying to control but Bakr postures up.

Bakr tries to pass to full mount but Wallace defends it. Bakr throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bakr drops an elbow to the side of Wallace's head. Wallace gets full guard. Bakr trying to control the position from guard on top but Wallace is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bakr is in close to Wallace's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bakr won't allow Wallace to get back to his feet. Bakr throws a strike but Wallace rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wallace wants to control from the top but Bakr keeps moving. Bakr keeping full guard, as Wallace tries to pass. Bakr controls Wallace momentarily but Wallace frees himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kashmhir Bakr dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Wallace moves into the clinch. Wallace's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Wallace's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wallace misses with a takedown attempt - Bakr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bakr gets a takedown into half guard. Wallace manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Wallace pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bakr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wallace is fending him off so far but Bakr persists. Nope, Wallace circles away and we're back to standing. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bakr. Bakr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kashmhir Bakr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bakr misses with a takedown and Wallace counters with a stiff right hand. Wallace misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bakr is fending him off so far but Wallace persists. Nope, Bakr circles away and we're back to standing. Wallace will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wallace looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wallace tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bakr swivels and escapes. Wallace rushes Bakr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bakr is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Wallace keeps control of Bakr as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Wallace manages to break the clinch.
Wallace goes for a double leg but Bakr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bakr continues to drive forward. Wallace wants to clinch up but Bakr keeps it at a distance. As Wallace looks to move away, Bakr throws a big counter combo but Wallace just gets out of the way. Bakr shoots in and drives through. Wallace sprawls well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace moves into range and clinches up with Bakr. Wallace pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wallace walks into a straight right hand from Bakr. Nice takedown defense from Bakr. No joy for Wallace on that attempt. It looked like Bakr wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A looping hook to the body misses from Wallace. Bakr does a little dance to reset his feet. Wallace scores with a head kick. Bakr tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Wallace shoots in but Bakr avoids the takedown attempt easily. Wallace looks to land a left hand but Bakr moved out of range nicely. Bakr shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallace sprawls well. He's pushed Bakr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And Wallace tries to counter it with a takedown but Bakr pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bakr throws a leg kick that is checked and Wallace counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bakr won't be happy with that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A lull in the action here. Wallace is trying to get an arm triangle but Bakr is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wade Wallace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Bakr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wallace works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wallace can do anything to dispel that myth. Bakr chips away with some ground and pound. Bakr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wade Wallace has got the better of the ground game so far. Wallace doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Wallace takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bakr stands up from Wallace's guard - Bakr perhaps looking for a knockout. Wade Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bakr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wallace sprawls well. Wallace wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bakr gets slowly back to his feet. Bakr looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bakr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wallace but Wallace pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kashmhir Bakr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wallace darts in looking for a takedown but Bakr gets double underhooks and turns Wallace into the cage. Bakr gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wallace counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Wallace shoots in looking for a takedown but Bakr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wallace's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Wallace fails with a takedown attempt. Wallace gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bakr has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wallace clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Wallace trying to control but not successfully. Wallace turns into Bakr and is now in his guard.
Wallace gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bakr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bakr fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wallace dives in for a single leg takedown but Bakr sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Bakr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kashmhir Bakr is winning the standup battle so far. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wallace is defended easily by Bakr. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bakr.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Wade Wallace. I think Wallace has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
