Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johan Hegg!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcconnell tries to close the distance and clinch but Hegg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mcconnell wants to clinch up but Hegg keeps it at a distance.
Mcconnell moves out of range of the body kick from Hegg.
Hegg pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hegg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hegg feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mcconnell's calf.
Hegg thows a leg kick but Mcconnell checks it
and Mcconnell counters with a takedown into side control.
Hegg throws Mcconnell to one side and escapes!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hegg scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Gerry Mcconnell has been cut.
