Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Maulin defends it nicely.
Maulin darts in and clinches Lawler up against the cage.
Maulin scores with a shot to the side of Lawler's head.
Maulin softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Maulin lands an uppercut.
Lawler could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Maulin has a couple of punches blocked by Lawler.
Lawler blocking some punches.
Maulin lands with a left to the head.
Maulin slows down the pace here.
Maulin throws a punch but it's blocked by Lawler.
Maulin gets through Lawler's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lawler is trying to pull guard but Maulin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Maulin stalls.
Lawler tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerry Lawler. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lawler tries to pull guard but Maulin holds him up against the cage and eventually Lawler drops back down to his feet.
Maulin's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Lawler jumps guard but Maulin stands there with Lawler around his waist. Lawler gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lawler tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Maulin smiles and moves away.
Maulin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lawler is breathing heavily.
Maulin scoring well with a low kick there.
Maulin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lawler momentarily.
Maulin clinches with his opponent.
Maulin throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Lawler has been working on his balance at ReVoLuT!oN !sL@nD GYM, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Maulin.

Maulin lands with a short shot to the head.
Maulin digs a right hand underneath Lawler's ribcage. Lawler let out a lung full of air as it connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maulin drops Lawler onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Lawler is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Lawler is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maulin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Oh Lawler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maulin presses Lawler against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Maulin creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Lawler with a big uppercut! Lawler tries to clinch up but Maulin pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Lawler to the mat! Lawler covers up and Maulin unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ryu Maulin!
