Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Russell Lynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kingsley Nasir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Russell Lynn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kingsley Nasir! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynn connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Lynn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lynn has been working on his boxing with his coaches at K.O. Koala's in the buildup to the fight. Nasir has Lynn up against the cage in a clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Nasir can't get the takedown.
Lynn prevents a body shot from Nasir. Nasir wants a takedown.
Lynn manages to break the clinch.
Lynn misses with a low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nasir uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lynn.
Lynn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Russell Lynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nasir instigates a clinch. Nasir is looking for a takedown. Russell Lynn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kingsley Nasir. Lynn taking a breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nasir closes the distance and clinches. The referee calls for Nasir to work.
Nasir pulls guard. Lynn lands a couple of digs. Lynn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nasir is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nasir controlling the position. Lynn postures up in Nasir's guard and throws a big left but Nasir blocks it. Lynn postures up and lands a big shot to Nasir's brow. Nasir has control of Lynn's left arm, preventing Lynn from doing any damage. Lynn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nasir is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lynn is aware though and is defending well. Lynn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nasir's head. Nasir is trying to control the position but Lynn postures up. Lynn postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lynn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lynn throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nasir has momentary wrist control but Lynn slips an elbow through the middle. Lynn is in close to Nasir's body, working some short punches and elbows. Nasir wants to sweep but no luck. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lynn trying to control but Nasir is working from the bottom. Lynn stopping the sweep attempt from Nasir. Lynn wants to control from the top but Nasir keeps moving. Lynn with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Nasir has his foot on Lynn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lynn works his way back into a safe position though. Nasir controls Lynn momentarily but Lynn frees himself. Lynn is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Nasir trying to control the position.
Lynn scoring with punches to the head and body. Lynn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nasir is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nasir preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Nasir is trying to keep Lynn in close.
Nasir has control of Lynn's left arm, preventing Lynn from doing any damage. Lynn throwing strikes but missing. Lynn scoring with some ground and pound. Nasir is pulling down on Lynn's head. It's preventing any offense from Lynn, at least for the moment. Lynn postures up and lands a big shot to Nasir's brow. Nasir is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lynn landing some decent shots from guard. Lynn scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Lynn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nasir wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Nasir working for a triangle but Lynn defends it easily.
Nasir pulls Lynn in close to prevent any damage. Lynn works over Nasir with some ground and pound from guard. Nasir trying to control the position.
Nasir looking for a sweep. Not yet Nasir, not yet. Lynn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nasir looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Nasir escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lynn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nasir is trying to keep Lynn in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Russell Lynn dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lynn lands with a nice body punch. Lynn drops Nasir with a beautiful combination! Nasir stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lynn is looking for the KO!
It looks like Kingsley Nasir has been cut. Nasir scores with a shot to the body.
Lynn sends Nasir crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lynn is motioning to the referee to let Nasir up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Nasir is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lynn scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nasir is still on wobbly legs! Can Lynn finish him? Lynn cracks Nasir on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Nasir falls backwards against the cage. Lynn follows up with more strikes that drop Nasir to his knees. Lynn keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Nasir! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Russell Lynn! Our winner, Russell Lynn, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
