The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bob throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bob throws a looping overhand right but Azz ducks down to avoid it.
Azz keeps Bob at a distance using the push kick.
Azz throws a front kick that sends Bob stumbling back into the cage.
Azz swinging wildly here.
Azz slips under a jab.
Azz attempts a counter takedown but Bob avoids it well and moves away.
Bob blocks a head kick by Azz.
Bob changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bob loads up on a big right hand but Azz slips the punch.
Azz throws a front kick aimed at Bob's knee but Bob avoids it well.
Azz tries to clinch up.
Bob slips a jab and a cross from Azz.

Bob throws a hook but Azz blocks it.
Bob finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A big right from Bob misses.
Azz gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Azz needs to keep his hands up - Bob had a free shot at his head there.
Bob throws out a loose jab but Azz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Azz appears to be looking for a big counter.
Bob throws an off balance right hand
and Azz counters with a nice body shot.
Bob misses with a left hand
and Azz counters with a three punch combo that has Bob backing up. Bob nods at Azz to acknowledge the strikes.
Bob gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Azz.
Azz throws a lazy head kick

and Bob decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Azz's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bob passes Azz's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Azz takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Azz is looking to improve his position but Bob isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bob cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Azz is rocked!
Bob unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Azz wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Bob celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

After winning the bout, Bushido Bob thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
