Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Avala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Gall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avala is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Avala pinned against the cage. Avala gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Avala is breathing heavily.
Avala displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gall.
Avala drops down looking for a counter takedown but Gall sprawls and moves away.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Avala enables Gall to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Avala manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
