And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conrad Burns!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Gogh closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burns. Van Gogh does a little dance to reset his feet.
Burns smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Van Gogh shoots and misses
enabling Burns to counter with a crisp jab.
Burns connects with a leg kick. Van Gogh looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Conrad Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Van Gogh moves into the clinch successfully.

Van Gogh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Burns gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miguel Van Gogh. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Burns has a couple of punches blocked by Van Gogh.
Oh Van Gogh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Burns swings wildly with an uppercut but Van Gogh uses good head movement to avoid it.
Burns misses with the head strike.
Burns swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Van Gogh seems to have got his legs back now.
Van Gogh has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Burns after a bit of a struggle.

Burns dips a shoulder and cracks Van Gogh with a mighty uppercut! Van Gogh falls back against the cage and Burns unloads with a barrage of strikes! Van Gogh is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Burns screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Conrad Burns!
Conrad Burns seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
