Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conor Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stacey Poole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ruiz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tommy Lee Sparta - Psycho. Stacey Poole has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poole slaps away a takedown attempt from Ruiz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ruiz misses with a takedown attempt - Poole sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Poole instigates a clinch.
Ruiz is trying to pull guard but Poole turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conor Ruiz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Poole pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ruiz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ruiz has a takedown stuffed.
Poole throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Poole stuffs the takedown attempt from Ruiz. Ruiz gets slowly back to his feet.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Poole.

Poole connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Conor Ruiz has been cut.
Poole pushes Ruiz up against the cage in a clinch.
Ruiz is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Poole is defending well.
Ruiz is breathing heavily.
Poole tries to land knees in the clinch but Ruiz avoids the damage to the body.
Ruiz is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Poole gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Ruiz is trying to pull guard but Poole has him pressed against the cage.
Poole manages to break the clinch.
Poole lands a big right hand that sends Ruiz crashing to the mat! Poole stays standing though and waves Ruiz back to his feet!
Ruiz is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ruiz fails with the takedown
and Poole counters with a right hand from hell and Ruiz is out cold! A vicious knockout!

In his post fight interview, Stacey Poole started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
