Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ao Ki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomy Fang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ao Ki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tomy Fang! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Fang.
Fang throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fang throws a looping overhand right but Ki ducks down to avoid it. Ki forces Fang back against the cage and clinches. Fang is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Fang is trying to break the clinch but Ki is controlling him. Ki drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fang gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ki has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fang avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ki tries to pull guard but Fang forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ao Ki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fang working hard to break the clinch. Ki leaning his opponent against the cage. Ki taking a breather. Ki gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Ki manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Fang wants to break free but Ki has control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ki has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fang uses from the top position. Ki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fang defends it easily. Fang avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fang decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ki, up you get! Nice body punch from Fang. Ki has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ki tries for a takedown but Fang manages to get underhooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ki's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Ki tries to score a body lock takedown but Fang shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Ki is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Fang is defending well. Fang tries to circle away but Ki has him pinned against the cage. Come on Ki - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Fang wants to get back to striking at distance but Ki won't allow it.
A frustrated look appears on Fang's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ki is working for takedown but Fang is calmly controlling the position for now. Ki successfully pulls guard.
Fang must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fang controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Fang has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ki is proving hard to escape from. Fang advances position into side control! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ki being controlled for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ao Ki will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Fang lands a body shot.
Fang looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ki is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fang throws a hook but Ki avoids it easily. Ki tries to counter with a takedown but Fang is quick to defend against it. Ki darts in and clinches Fang up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Fang's face as he tries to break the clinch. Fang is trying to break the clinch but Ki has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ki jumps guard and drags Fang to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Ki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fang defends it easily. Fang is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ki is looking for a triangle but Fang pushes his legs off easily.
Ki is working an open guard so Fang takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Ki closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fang's guard. Fang is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ki won't allow Fang to sweep him here. Fang trying to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ki tries to free his leg and advance position but Fang is retaining full guard. Ao Ki overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ki has gone for a leg lock! Fang slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ki's guard.
Fang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fang has managed to get both his arms back between Ki's legs - danger averted. Fang pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ki is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ki working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Fang has passed into half guard!
Fang moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Ki. The referee asks Fang politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fang prefers to stall for the moment though. Fang decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fang swats away the attempt to clinch by Ki. A looping hook to the body misses from Fang. Ki does a little dance to reset his feet. Fang works over Ki's head and body with a nice combination. Fang looks to land a left hand but Ki moved out of range nicely. Ki has managed to clinch.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Ki stalling.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ki effectively controlling the action here. Ki prevents Fang from breaking the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tomy Fang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Ki has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ki clinches up with Fang and pushes him back against the cage. Fang can't break the clinch.
Fang is trying to break the clinch but Ki is controlling him. A bit of stalling here from Ki.
Ki has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Fang clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Ki is cranking Fang's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Fang! He's tightened the choke and Fang is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ao Ki! In his post fight interview, Ao Ki started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
