Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Hatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dong Kaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dong Kaze is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky Hatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dong Kaze! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hatt tries for a takedown but Kaze circles away easily and Kaze counters with a left to the body. Hatt shoots for a takedown but Kaze saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kaze. Hatt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kaze counters by moving into the clinch. Kaze prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Hatt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kaze dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Kaze is struggling to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaze is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hatt is defending well. Hatt blocks an elbow strike. Hatt wants a takedown.
Hatt pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatt is adopting a defensive guard. Kaze stands up from Hatt's guard - Kaze perhaps looking for a knockout. Kaze fails with the takedown. Kaze shoots for a takedown but Hatt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hatt drives through and clinches with Kaze against the cage.
Kaze drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hatt stops a takedown attempt from Kaze.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaze stalling in the clinch but Hatt improves position. Hatt lands a takedown into guard.
Kaze has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hatt is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Kaze is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hatt pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kaze has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hatt regains guard immediately. Hatt is wriggling around but Kaze manages to pass to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kaze content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hatt has a hand on Kaze's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Kaze takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Hatt on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hatt tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaze tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hatt defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kaze. Hatt wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Kaze working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Hatt is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Kaze has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Hatt taps out!
