Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lethal Larry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larry comes to the cage accompanied by Promise Man. McGuire comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Black Stone Cherry - White Trash Millionaire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, Lethal Larry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 5, fighting out of New York, Charles McGuire! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larry avoids the body shot from McGuire.
Larry was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Good leg kick by Larry there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Larry moves out of range as McGuire throws a body kick.
Larry takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
McGuire ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Larry moves away. McGuire takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. McGuire scores with a sloppy right hand. Larry should have avoided that one. Larry darts in and out, connecting with a jab. McGuire throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Larry was covering up waiting for the punch and McGuire finishes the takedown easily into guard. Larry preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. McGuire scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. McGuire trying to control the position from guard on top but Larry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McGuire controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. McGuire scoring with punches to the head and body. Larry escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGuire gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Larry seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. McGuire looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McGuire throws an elbow that misses. Larry uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McGuire's guard. Nice move by Larry!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Larry is looking to pass into half guard but McGuire pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now McGuire is in guard. McGuire trying to control the position from guard on top but Larry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McGuire tries to free his leg and advance position but Larry is retaining full guard. Larry looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Larry has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. McGuire is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Larry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Larry is looking to regain half guard here but McGuire keeps moving and retains side control. McGuire tries to score with some ground and pound. Larry controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Larry tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but McGuire presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Larry is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Larry is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. McGuire content just to control the position here. McGuire is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Larry can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
It looks like Lethal Larry has been cut. Larry is in all sorts of trouble here.
McGuire lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Larry hang on? McGuire pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McGuire cracks Larry with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Larry takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Larry is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charles McGuire dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lethal Larry's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
McGuire pushing out the jab but it's not landing. McGuire has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Larry throws a leg kick and McGuire counters with a takedown into side control. Larry manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Larry is thwarting McGuire's attempts to control the position. McGuire is looking for a sweep. Larry is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. McGuire is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Larry working the head and body with strikes. Larry is working for a submission of some sort.
McGuire is in trouble now - Larry has advanced to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. McGuire is controlling an arm, preventing Larry from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
BOOM! Larry connects with a massive shot to the dome!
McGuire slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. McGuire trying to control but Larry postures up.
Larry wants to pass to mount but McGuire is defending the position. Lethal Larry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Larry is working for a submission of some sort.
Larry tries to pass the half guard into mount. McGuire knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. McGuire is looking to control Larry's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McGuire avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Larry tries to pass to full mount but McGuire defends it. McGuire works his way to full guard. Good work. Larry sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. McGuire doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Larry paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from McGuire - great work!
