Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tetsuya Shiroo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minowa Fujiati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shiroo comes to the cage accompanied by The Gazette / Filth In The Beauty. Minowa Fujiati has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tetsuya Shiroo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Minowa Fujiati!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shiroo throws a wild body kick that Fujiati sees coming a mile off.
Shiroo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

and Fujiati counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Fujiati throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shiroo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Fujiati is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Shiroo has his foot on Fujiati's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fujiati works his way back into a safe position though.

Fujiati looking to sit in guard and control but Shiroo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Shiroo is pushing down on Fujiati's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fujiati is fighting to maintain full guard but Shiroo has managed to sneak the leg through.
Shiroo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fujiati does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Shiroo is taking a breather. Fujiati says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Shiroo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Shiroo seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Fujiati is holding on tight.
Shiroo wants to control the pace but Fujiati is squirming around nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tetsuya Shiroo will probably get the nod.

Fujiati changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shiroo tries to avoid it but Fujiati manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shiroo to the ground. Shiroo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shiroo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fujiati takes a jab right on the kisser.
Shiroo misses with a two punch combination.
Shiroo looks to land a combination but Fujiati avoids it well.
Shiroo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fujiati changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

and Fujiati counters with a nice double leg into side control. Shiroo won't be happy with that.

Shiroo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Shiroo is staying active underneath Fujiati, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Shiroo is refusing to be controlled, as Fujiati sits in half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fujiati is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shiroo defends it well.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Fujiati moves out of range of the strikes.
Shiroo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fujiati takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Tetsuya Shiroo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fujiati ducks right into an uppercut from Shiroo.
Fujiati darts in looking for a takedown but Shiroo gets double underhooks and turns Fujiati into the cage.

Shiroo tried to counter with a leg kick but Fujiati avoided it.

Fujiati sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fujiati shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shiroo sprawls well. Shiroo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fujiati gets slowly back to his feet.
Tetsuya Shiroo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Minowa Fujiati.

Shiroo tries a head kick but it misses.
And Fujiati tries to counter it with a takedown but Shiroo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Shiroo lands a nice looking kick to the body. Fujiati takes a step back to recover.
Shiroo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fujiati can do to turn this around?

It looks like Minowa Fujiati has been cut.
Fujiati darts in looking for a takedown but Shiroo gets double underhooks and turns Fujiati into the cage.

Fujiati uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shiroo.
Nice uppercut lands for Shiroo. That snapped Fujiati's head back.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shiroo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well Shiroo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
