Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taco Stiffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stiffy's entrance music is The taco dance. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jerry Lawler! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Stiffy. Lawler does a little dance to reset his feet. Lawler fails with a takedown attempt. Stiffy misses with an uppercut. Lawler saw that one coming. Lawler moves out of range as Stiffy strikes. Lawler bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lawler misses with a takedown attempt - Stiffy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lawler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stiffy's waist but Stiffy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lawler off to one side. Stiffy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Taco Stiffy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerry Lawler. Lawler misses with a takedown attempt - Stiffy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lawler looks for a takedown but Stiffy sprawls well. Stiffy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stiffy throws a hook to the side of Lawler's head but Lawler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lawler. Stiffy connects with a body shot that sends Lawler's belly button to the back. Jerry Lawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lawler blocks a jab. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lawler is defended easily by Stiffy. Stiffy misses with a telegraphed body shot
so Lawler counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Stiffy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lawler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stiffy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Lawler stays in close to Stiffy's body and controls the position. Lawler passes into half guard. Lawler wants to control but Stiffy is keeping him busy. Stiffy is looking for a sweep. Lawler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Stiffy actively working from the bottom here. Stiffy is looking to improve his position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stiffy trying to control here.

Lawler content to control rather than advance. Lawler wants to take a breather but Stiffy is having none of it. Lawler wants to free his trapped foot but Stiffy is holding on for dear life with his legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lawler keeps trying to improve his position. Stiffy tries to get to full guard but Lawler has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lawler is trying to control the action in half guard but Stiffy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stiffy takes a swing at Lawler's ribcage but misses. Lawler takes a shot right to the bread basket. Lawler gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Stiffy swings for the body but Lawler moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Stiffy as Lawler shoots in. Lawler steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stiffy. Lawler moves out of range as Stiffy strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lawler displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stiffy throws out the jab. Lawler blocks a jab. Lawler looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lawler is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Stiffy is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Lawler's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Stiffy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lawler manages to avoid it. Lawler's coach down at ReVoLuT!oN !sL@nD GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lawler's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Lawler shoots in but no luck this time. Lawler fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lawler. Taco Stiffy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerry Lawler. No luck for Lawler with that takedown attempt. Lawler keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stiffy throws out a powerful jab. Stiffy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lawler can do to turn this around? Lawler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stiffy.
Lawler tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Lawler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Lawler's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stiffy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lawler scrambles back to his feet. Lawler is breathing heavily.

Stiffy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lawler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Stiffy fails to land with a series of punches.

This has been an exciting period of action! Stiffy digs a good body shot into Lawler's ribs. Stiffy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lawler drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Stiffy defends it well. Stiffy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stiffy wants it to stay on the feet. Lawler avoids the body shot from Stiffy.

Lawler closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Stiffy's guard. Stiffy pulls Lawler in to control the position. Lawler wants to control from the top but Stiffy keeps moving. Stiffy is controlling Lawler's posture. Stiffy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lawler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stiffy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Stiffy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lawler is aware though and is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stiffy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lawler is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lawler stands and throws Stiffy's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lawler tries to advance to mount but Stiffy denies him. Stiffy is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lawler off and has taken his back! Lawler trying to control the action but Stiffy just sinks the hooks in. Stiffy lands punches and elbows. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lawler covers up after that shot from Stiffy.
And that's the end of the fight! Taco Stiffy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stiffy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
