The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Pettis misses.
Pettis throws a jab but it's blocked by Dux.
Dux drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pettis sprawls and moves away.
Pettis moves away from the strike by Dux.
Pettis swings widly with a right hand
and Dux counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Pettis pushes Dux off but Dux dives into side control.
Pettis wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Dux advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dux takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Dux is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Pettis is forced to tap! Great finish!
