Blanxart closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lawler to the mat! Lawler manages to get full guard.
Blanxart postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Blanxart pushing down on Lawler's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Blanxart wants to pass to mount but Lawler is defending the position.
Blanxart working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Lawler is trying to maintain the position but Blanxart is very close to passing his half guard.
Blanxart lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Lawler quite badly. Lawler pulls Blanxart in close trying to recover. Blanxart postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Lawler on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Lawler doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pau Blanxart!
