Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buck Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oluwale Bamgbose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Cannibal Corpes - Hammer smashed face. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Buck Brown! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Oluwale Bamgbose! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bamgbose misses with a hook
and Brown counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Brown. Bamgbose tries to score a body lock takedown but Brown shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Bamgbose tries to pull guard but Brown holds him up against the cage and eventually Bamgbose drops back down to his feet.

Brown scores with a shoulder strike. Brown manages to break the clinch.
Good exchange - Brown coming out on top. Brown looks to land a right hand but Bamgbose moved out of range. Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bamgbose. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bamgbose. Bamgbose changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Bamgbose throws the left hand but Brown avoids the punch easily. An attempted straight right counter from Brown misses the target. Bamgbose throws a poor cross that misses
and Brown counters by clinching up. Bamgbose tries to pull guard but Brown forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Buck Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oluwale Bamgbose.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown lands with a short shot to the head. Brown breaks the clinch.
Bamgbose misses with a right hand and Brown counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bamgbose missing with a left hand there. Brown was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Brown drops his hands momentarily and Bamgbose takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bamgbose throws a jab when Brown was well out of range. An attempted straight right counter from Brown misses the target. Brown scores with a nice right hand.
Bamgbose fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brown avoids it really well and circles away. Bamgbose slips under a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown ducks under a wild hook from Bamgbose. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bamgbose has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Bamgbose closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown is staying active underneath Bamgbose, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Brown is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bamgbose looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Bamgbose is trying to control the action in half guard but Brown is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Brown looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Brown flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Bamgbose drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bamgbose jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bamgbose rolls with it to try and escape but Brown cranks on the arm and Bamgbose is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Buck Brown! Buck Brown retains his middleweight title! A very excited looking Buck Brown made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
