Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dillinger comes to the cage accompanied by Listen!!. Hawk has chosen Deadwood as his entrance music. John Dillinger has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Dillinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Thomas Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk tries to work over Dillinger's front leg with a kick but Dillinger checks it.
Hawk checks a low kick from Dillinger.

Hawk gets caught flat footed, as Dillinger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dillinger lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Hawk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dillinger's guard.

Dillinger will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hawk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Hawk working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hawk takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Hawk tries to buck Dillinger off but Dillinger is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hawk has the hooks in. Dillinger is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Dillinger manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Hawk is now in side control.
Dillinger is looking to reverse the position.
Dillinger parries the strikes from Hawk easily there. Hawk is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dillinger to escape.
Hawk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dillinger keeps working.

That's time! Dillinger's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hawk looks to land a left hand but Dillinger moved out of range nicely.
Dillinger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hawk! But no joy.

A quick step to the side and Dillinger tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dillinger takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Thomas Hawk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Hawk connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dillinger feints and then cracks Hawk's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hawk down.

It looked like Dillinger wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dillinger decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Hawk throws out a loose jab but Dillinger uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dillinger jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Dillinger takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hawk or perhaps it was just good defense by Dillinger, which made it look bad.

Dillinger feints and then cracks Hawk's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hawk down.
Hawk uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dillinger.
Dillinger tries to bum rush Hawk with a series of wild strikes but Hawk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dillinger stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hawk lands a jab to the nose.
Dillinger does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Dillinger scores with the left hand. Hawk knows he should have avoided that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hawk takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hawk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dillinger was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Dillinger.
I think Dillinger has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
