The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues tries for a takedown but Bomb sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bomb gets tackled into the cage by Rodrigues. Rodrigues maintains the clinch.
Bomb looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Bomb gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rodrigues.
Rodrigues manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Rodrigues seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rodrigues stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rodrigues wants it to stay on the feet.
