Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConnell blocks a head kick by Salvio.
McConnell misses with a body shot.
Salvio tries a quick counter leg kick but McConnell is wise to it.
McConnell gets in close and instigates a clinch.
McConnell breaks the clinch.
Salvio throws a head kick that misses
and McConnell counters with a head kick that drops Salvio to the mat! Salvio scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Salvio is rocked!
McConnell avoids the head kick by Salvio.
McConnell looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Salvio is still on wobbly legs! Can McConnell finish him?
McConnell closes the distance and clinches.
Salvio has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McConnell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
McConnell dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
McConnell lands a shoulder strike.
McConnell lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Salvio is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but McConnell is keeping busy.
McConnell lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Salvio backwards.
McConnell throws a big uppercut that drops Salvio! More strikes from McConnell and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Salvio lies dazed against the cage as McConnell celebrates with his cornermen!
