Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alessandro Colombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dong Kaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alessandro Colombo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dong Kaze! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colombo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kaze sprawls well. Kaze wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Colombo gets slowly back to his feet. Kaze misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kaze has closed the distance and engaged Colombo in a clinch.
Kaze using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Colombo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Kaze pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kaze drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kaze tries to advance to mount but Colombo denies him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaze working away. Colombo keeps Kaze under control for a moment. Kaze stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaze moves into the clinch. Kaze lands a shoulder strike. Colombo wants a takedown but no success here.
Kaze breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Colombo shoots for a takedown but Kaze saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alessandro Colombo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Colombo shoots and misses and Kaze makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Colombo shoots in for a double leg but Kaze sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kaze gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kaze pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Colombo avoids the head kick by Kaze.
Colombo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kaze as he avoids it easily. Kaze rushes Colombo and presses him up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaze jumps into guard, dragging Colombo to the mat.
Colombo wants to pass the guard but Kaze is keeping the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Colombo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Colombo postures up and lands a big shot to Kaze's brow. Kaze trying to keep a closed guard but Colombo is proving a slippery customer.
Kaze working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Colombo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Colombo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Colombo trying to move into half guard but instead Kaze has managed to sweep! Colombo has a closed guard, preventing Kaze from standing up. Colombo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaze wants to control from the top but Colombo keeps moving. Colombo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Colombo tries to get out of the position. Kaze wants to stand but Colombo is controlling his posture from full guard. Kaze preventing the sweep. Kaze is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kaze won't allow Colombo to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Colombo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Colombo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kaze does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Colombo working the head and body with strikes. Kaze keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kaze blocking the ground and pound attempt from Colombo. Kaze is looking to improve his position.
Colombo throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Kaze to regain full guard. Kaze lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kaze has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Colombo is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dong Kaze dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Colombo dives in and grabs Kaze's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kaze pushes down on Colombo's head and hops out. Kaze shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kaze wants to control but Colombo is keeping him busy. Kaze wants to free his trapped foot but Colombo is holding on for dear life with his legs. Colombo tries to roll over but Kaze keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaze wants to get back to his feet.
Colombo tries to get to full guard but Kaze has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaze passes the guard and advances to mount! Kaze sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Colombo can't escape the position.
Kaze controlling the position easily from mount. Kaze looking to control but Colombo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaze goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Colombo is on top in guard.
Colombo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kaze works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Colombo is looking to work some ground and pound but Kaze has wrist control. Colombo throwing strikes but missing. Colombo looking to pass the guard. Kaze is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaze is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kaze is trying to control. Colombo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Colombo is looking to improve his position.
Dong Kaze has got the better of the ground game so far. Colombo is doing well to control the position and prevent Kaze from advancing to side control. Colombo wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kaze wants to lay and pray for a moment but Colombo keeps working. Colombo moves into full guard.
Colombo controlling the position. Colombo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kaze has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kaze trying to control the position from guard on top but Colombo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Colombo tries to strike from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kaze instigates a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dong Kaze showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Kaze looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kaze shoots for a double leg takedown but Colombo sprawls well. He's pushed Kaze's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Colombo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kaze avoids it really well and circles away. Kaze closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kaze has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Colombo regains guard immediately. Kaze working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colombo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kaze makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaze wants to control from the top but Colombo keeps moving. Colombo is controlling Kaze's posture. Kaze tries to stand but Colombo is controlling from the bottom. Kaze won't allow Colombo to sweep him here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Colombo with a lazy takedown attempt and Kaze counters with a shoot takedown. Colombo fights it but they end up in guard. Colombo pulls Kaze in to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaze postures up.
Kaze decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Colombo dodges the punch combination from Kaze.
Colombo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kaze counters with a left to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alessandro Colombo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Colombo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kaze avoids it really well and circles away. Kaze will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A combination from Kaze does no damage. Kaze is trying hard to land a takedown here. Colombo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kaze closes the distance and pushes Colombo back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaze has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Colombo uses from the top position. Kaze looking to hit a scissor sweep but Colombo is one step ahead there. Colombo throws a strike but Kaze rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kaze wants to control from the top but Colombo keeps moving. Kaze controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Colombo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaze wanted to stand there but Colombo had control of the position. Kaze is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kaze advances position into side control!
And that's the end of the fight! Dong Kaze comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kaze has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
