Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Renato Robles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sirus Morgan! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robles shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Morgan sprawls well. Morgan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Robles gets slowly back to his feet. Morgan is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Morgan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Robles tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Morgan is in Robles's guard. Robles has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Morgan off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Morgan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Robles tries to counter with a takedown but Morgan is quick to defend against it. Robles fails with a takedown attempt. Robles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Robles scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robles working away. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Morgan manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Morgan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Robles is working away from the top position though. Robles seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Morgan tries to get to full guard but Robles has control of the leg. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morgan can do anything to dispel that myth. Morgan connecting with a few gentle strikes. Morgan wants to control but Robles is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Robles misses with a body shot.
Morgan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Robles was covering up waiting for the punch and Morgan finishes the takedown easily into guard. Robles will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Robles is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Robles punching from the bottom - just letting Morgan know he's still in a fight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan stands up out of Robles's guard for a moment - Robles manages to land a nice upkick. Robles wants to improve his position but instead Morgan has moved into half guard.

Robles tries to get back to half guard but can't. Morgan working for a submission but Robles is keeping him at bay. Robles taking shots to the head.
It looks like Renato Robles has been cut. Robles tries to hold on but Morgan postures up. Robles is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Morgan unloading with bombs! Morgan looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Morgan looking to finish Robles with some ground and pound. This is bad for Robles!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan drops a big elbow. That's hurt Robles! More shots from Morgan and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sirus Morgan! Sirus Morgan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
