Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jericho Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Kingsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jericho Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 4, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyle Kingsley! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Hill checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kingsley looks to land a right hand but Hill moved out of range. Hill moves away from the strike by Kingsley. No luck for Hill with that takedown attempt. Kingsley gets caught napping as Hill dives in and scores a takedown. Kingsley manages to retain guard. Kingsley is trying to control the position but Hill postures up. Hill trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hill stopping the sweep attempt from Kingsley. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kingsley controlling the position. Hill keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kingsley's head. Hill throwing strikes but missing. Kingsley is trying to keep Hill in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill lands a couple of decent looking shots. Kingsley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hill pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kingsley is keeping the position for now. Hill postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hill postures up.
Kingsley wants to sweep here but Hill controlling him for the moment. Kingsley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kingsley preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kingsley wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hill shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kingsley pinned against the cage. Kingsley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hill throws a head kick that misses and Kingsley counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hill! Kingsley misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Kingsley cracks Hill with a big elbow. Hill is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Kingsley throwing shots but missing, from side control. Kingsley connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hill some visible discomfort.
Hill is looking for a sweep. Kingsley misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Hill parries the strikes from Kingsley easily there. Kingsley is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hill to escape.

A lull in the action here as Kingsley stalls from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kingsley working away. Hill is not content to let Kingsley control the position. Kingsley working the ground and pound but Hill is defending the strikes. Kingsley working the strikes but Hill uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kingsley missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hill works his way to full guard. Good work. Kingsley is looking to work some ground and pound but Hill has wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Kingsley dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Kingsley enables Hill to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kingsley manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kingsley pulls Hill in to control the position. Hill stopping the sweep attempt from Kingsley. Hill lands a couple of digs. Hill won't allow Kingsley to sweep him here. Kingsley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Kingsley lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kingsley throws an elbow that misses. Hill uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kingsley's guard. Nice move by Hill!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hill won't allow Kingsley to sweep him here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hill connects with a couple of short punches. Hill throwing strikes but missing. Hill postures up.

Hill cracks Kingsley with a solid left hand. Jericho Hill has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hill chips away with some ground and pound. Hill slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kingsley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill looking to pass the guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kingsley tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kyle Kingsley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hill has his takedown stuffed and Kingsley counters with a nice body shot. Hill fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kingsley to the ground. Hill is now in Kingsley's guard. Kingsley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jericho Hill overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hill lands a couple of elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hill postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kingsley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hill's guard. Kingsley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kingsley wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving. Hill trying to keep a closed guard but Kingsley is proving a slippery customer.
Kingsley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hill manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kingsley manages to get himself to full guard.
Hill throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kingsley looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
And that's the end of the fight! Jericho Hill showed his dominance in that final round. I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
