Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Dangle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bonny Nose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Dangle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bonny Nose!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nose misses with a takedown attempt
and Dangle counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That kick from Dangle tenderised Nose's leg. Nose is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dangle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nose sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dangle somewhat.
Nose goes for a double leg but Dangle avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dangle continues to drive forward.
Dangle moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like Bonny Nose has been cut.
Nose fails with the takedown
letting Dangle counter with a right hand.
Jim Dangle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bonny Nose.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Dangle, right into the meat.
Nose shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dangle as he jumps to the side.

Dangle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nose looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dangle stalks Nose and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nose's face. Nose staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dangle displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nose.

Nose takes a jab right on the kisser.

Nose shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dangle is trying to defend but Nose finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Dangle is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nose defends well.
Nose lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Nose really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dangle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dangle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nose can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nose lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Dangle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nose is aware though and is defending well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dangle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nose looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Dangle pushes past his half guard into mount!

Dangle swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Nose is now in Dangle's guard. A big mistake from Dangle there, giving up the dominant position!
Nose postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Dangle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nose's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nose can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nose tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dangle throws a big elbow that misses.
We've been informed that Nose has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dangle won't allow Nose to get back to his feet.
Dangle advances to half guard.
Nose moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Nose looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dangle passes into side control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dangle throws a quick inside leg kick.
Dangle leaves Nose with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dangle is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Nose.
Dangle lands with a kick to the temple. Nose shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Nose takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nose takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nose misses with a takedown
and Nose takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dangle fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Nose has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Dangle counters with a three punch combo that has Nose backing up. Nose nods at Dangle to acknowledge the strikes.

Nose tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dangle just stands there and leans against the cage.
Nose takes a shot to the head.
Nose jumps guard but Dangle stands there with Nose around his waist. Nose gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nose wants to break free but Dangle has control.

A right hook to the body lands for Dangle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
