And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leo Murray!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McElroy has Murray up against the cage in a clinch.
A short right from McElroy on the inside.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as McElroy takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Murray has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McElroy after a bit of a struggle.
A nice left hand lands by McElroy.
Murray drops down looking for an ankle pick but McElroy pulls his leg out and moves away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Murray.
Griffin McElroy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Murray.
Murray tries to land a front kick but McElroy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McElroy wants to stand and escape but Murray is having none of it.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with McElroy for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Murray appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from McElroy enables Murray to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McElroy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McElroy wants to stand but Murray is controlling the position.

Murray postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McElroy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Murray, into his guard.

McElroy wants to get up but he can't break Murray's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Murray wants to stand but McElroy is controlling the position.

McElroy stands and steps away. Murray gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
