Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Specter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Specter might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Greenback Boogie. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Harvey Specter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Gold! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gold closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Specter to the mat! Specter manages to get full guard. Gold postures up in Specter's guard and throws a big left but Specter blocks it. Specter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gold can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Specter pulls Gold in close to prevent any damage. Gold postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gold tries to free his leg and advance position but Specter is retaining full guard. Gold is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Gold postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gold controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Specter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Gold trying to control the position from guard on top but Specter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gold stopping the sweep attempt from Specter. Gold got a little sloppy there for a moment and Specter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gold has managed to get both his arms back between Specter's legs - danger averted. Specter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Specter is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gold not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Gold trying to control the position from guard on top but Specter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Specter wants to hit a switch here but Gold passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Specter there! Specter is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gold fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Specter sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Gold thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Specter's head. Gold prevents Specter from improving his position. Gold thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Specter is looking to improve his position.
Gold looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Specter trying to control but Gold postures up.
Specter is trying to get back to full guard. Gold lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Specter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Specter actively working from the bottom here. Gold slips a nice elbow through Specter's hands, connecting with Specter's forehead. Specter wants to get back to full guard. Specter is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gold's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gold's back! Specter throwing sloppy strikes. Specter missing with punches from the back. Specter lands a shot to the body. Gold has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Specter struggling to keep hold of the position.
Gold is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gold manages to reverse the position and now he's in Specter's guard. Nice work there by Gold.
Gold sitting in guard, not really doing much. Specter is looking for a triangle but Gold pushes his legs off easily.
Gold working some strikes from top position. Specter is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Gold pushing down on Specter's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Specter gets back to full guard.
Gold throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Gold dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gold throws a jab when Specter was well out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Gold misses the target. Gold drives through and clinches with Specter against the cage.
Gold misses with a body punch.
Specter has a couple of punches blocked by Gold.
Gold has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Specter lands a right hand. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gold creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Gold lands on the inside with an uppercut. Gold blocking some punches.
Gold scores with a shoulder strike. Specter blocks an uppercut.
Specter softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Nice body punch from Specter. Gold pushes Specter back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! A head punch blocked on the inside by Gold. Gold blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Specter goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Gold breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Specter fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Specter is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gold. Gold misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gold uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Specter.
A little jabbing left from Gold on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Specter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Gold misses with a series of wild punches.
A jab from Gold misses. Specter tries to counter by clinching up but Gold breaks away and moves out of range. Specter shoots for a double leg takedown but Gold sprawls well. He's pushed Specter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Gold is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Specter with a body shot. Specter wants to clinch. Harvey Specter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Specter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Specter misses the jab. Specter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gold's head backwards. Specter slips a straight right by Gold. Gold checks the leg kick. Specter throws a shot from downtown. Gold moves away and avoids it. Gold with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Specter scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gold in his tracks. Gold rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Specter moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice jab there from Specter. Specter misses with a right hand letting Gold counter with a right hand. Gold scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Specter doesn't seem bothered though. Gold misses with a hook to the body
and Specter counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Specter. Gold blocks a punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gold lands a body punch in the clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Specter. Gold goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Specter misses with a hook from the clinch. Gold lands a right hand that snaps the head of Specter backwards. A nice right hand lands inside from Specter. Specter misses with a hook to the ribs.
Gold controlling the action here for a moment.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Specter lands a right hand. Gold misses with some punches.
Specter tries to work over Gold's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Gold breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A big left from Specter misses. A little jabbing left from Gold on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Gold waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Specter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gold stuffs the takedown attempt from Specter. Specter gets slowly back to his feet. Specter swats away the attempt to clinch by Gold. Gold scores with a nice right hand.
A nice inside leg kick there by Specter. That's going to slow Gold down. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Specter misses with a shot to the body and Gold counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Specter throws a combination that misses and Specter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gold shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Specter counters with a lovely shot to the body. Specter tries to grapple but his opponent circles enabling Gold to counter with a crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Gold showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Gold thows a left - swing and a miss! Specter is looking to counter the offense by Gold and move into the clinch. Specter throws a leg kick but Gold checks it. Specter throws a body punch but Gold moves out of range. Specter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gold. Gold misses with a straight right. Gold throws an overhand right that lands on Specter's shoulder, as Specter tries to avoid the shot. Specter throws a body shot but no joy. Gold jabbing away but nothing is landing. Specter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gold at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Specter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Specter throws a leg kick that misses. Gold tries a head kick but it misses.
Gold paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Specter tries to clinch but Gold is having none of it. Jack Gold seems to be getting the better of the standup. Specter cracks Gold with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Specter blocks a head kick by Gold.
Gold misses with a wild body shot. Specter jabs at Gold's body. A decent looking cross lands there for Gold. Gold misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Specter tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Specter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gold throws out the jab. Specter is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gold. Gold stuns Specter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Specter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gold moves away. Specter tries to clinch but Gold is having none of it. Harvey Specter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Specter scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Specter throws a lazy right hand but Gold sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. This has been an exciting period of action! Gold moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Specter misses with an uppercut. Gold swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Specter. Gold circles away from the clinch attempt.
Specter throws a jab but it's blocked by Gold. Gold throws an overhand right that lands on Specter's shoulder, as Specter tries to avoid the shot. Specter wants to clinch. Specter with a lazy takedown attempt and Gold makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gold connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Gold connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Specter's hands. Gold misses with a wild body shot. Specter swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Gold counter with a right hand. Gold fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Specter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jack Gold is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Specter on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Specter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Specter throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gold. Gold connects with a jab. Specter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gold.
Gold is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Specter with a body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gold smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gold avoids the body shot from Specter.
Specter has his takedown stuffed and Gold counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Gold lands an overhand right. Gold misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gold lands a really nice looking cross but Specter seems unphased.
Gold slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Gold tries to clinch up and Specter counters with a three punch combo that has Gold backing up. Gold nods at Specter to acknowledge the strikes. Gold has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Gold connects with a looping right hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Gold comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Gold winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
