Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Faup! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Random Fighter Three! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faup clinches up against the cage. Fighter Three turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fighter Three manages to end up in side control. You can see the frustration on Faup's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Faup tries to bench press Fighter Three off him but Fighter Three keeps the position. Faup is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Faup is pushing Fighter Three's head away, looking to escape. Fighter Three manages to hold on to the position though. Faup struggling a bit here. Faup is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Faup can't do much from the bottom here. Check out the look on Fighter Three's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Faup is being controlled here. Faup wants to get back to his feet. Faup is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Fighter Three lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Faup down.
Fighter Three has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fighter Three working the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter Three lands an elbow. Fighter Three cracks Faup with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Fighter Three immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Faup is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Fighter Three!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Random Fighter Three! Random Fighter Three retains his heavyweight title!
