Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Rickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rickson shoots in looking for a takedown. Henderson tries to sprawl out of it but Rickson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Henderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rickson misses with a takedown attempt - Henderson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Henderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rickson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Henderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rickson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Henderson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rickson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Henderson's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to William Rickson.
