Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Islam Ramazanov! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ramazanov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Penn tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ramazanov is in Penn's guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ramazanov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramazanov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ramazanov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Penn is just riding it out for now. Ramazanov eventually gives up the hold. Penn tries to roll over but Ramazanov keeps him under control. Ramazanov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
