Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cruz Dominiguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJ Redmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz Dominiguez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cruz Dominiguez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, JJ Redmond! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redmond fails with a takedown attempt. Dominiguez tries to counter with a takedown but Redmond is quick to defend against it. Redmond takes one to the chin there. Redmond fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dominiguez avoids it really well and circles away. Dominiguez looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Redmond not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dominiguez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Redmond keeping full guard, as Dominiguez tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dominiguez controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Redmond looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dominiguez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Redmond can do anything to dispel that myth. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dominiguez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Dominiguez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Redmond shoots in looking for a takedown but Dominiguez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Redmond's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dominiguez changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Cruz Dominiguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JJ Redmond. Dominiguez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Redmond. Dominiguez connects with a nice looking jab.
Redmond shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dominiguez as he jumps to the side. A momentary lapse in concentration from Dominiguez enables Redmond to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dominiguez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dominiguez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Redmond can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dominiguez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Redmond doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Redmond manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Redmond trying to control but Dominiguez is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Redmond might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dominiguez haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Dominiguez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Redmond should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dominiguez has tightened it up now! Redmond should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
