Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abdula Hazam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hazam might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to PALLADIO by Karl Jenkins. Oh Man! Wath a piece of Music! Awesome!!!. Ronaldo Diaz has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Abdula Hazam's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hazam. Hazam obviously looking to wear him down.
Ronaldo Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diaz tries for a takedown but Hazam sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Diaz gets a clinch. Diaz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hazam is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Diaz is keeping busy. Hazam wants a takedown but no success here.
A body shot lands from Diaz.
Diaz blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Diaz wants a takedown but no success here.
Hazam drops down looking for an ankle pick but Diaz pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hazam with a lazy takedown attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abdula Hazam. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hazam scores with a kick to the midsection. Hazam throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Diaz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hazam looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hazam might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hazam is not content to let Diaz control the position. Hazam takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hazam manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Hazam is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Diaz pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hazam is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz trying to control from half guard but Hazam is working away. Diaz stands up and beckons Hazam to join him on the feet. Diaz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hazam moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Hazam is trying to keep Diaz in close.
Diaz has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hazam is proving hard to escape from. Diaz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hazam's guard. Diaz with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hazam moves into full guard.
Hazam is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hazam is on top in guard.
Hazam wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. Hazam drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick Hazam off! Hazam jumps back into Diaz's guard. Hazam wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hazam content to stall in guard here. Hazam wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Abdula Hazam just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Hazam closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Diaz to the mat! Diaz manages to get full guard. Diaz keeping moving, preventing Hazam from controlling successfully. Hazam controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hazam has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hazam drops back, looking for a kneebar! Diaz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Diaz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Diaz! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronaldo Diaz dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Diaz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hazam backs up against the cage.
Diaz clinches up with Hazam and pushes him back against the cage. Hazam changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Diaz fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hazam changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Diaz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Diaz is not content to let Hazam control the position. Diaz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hazam is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Diaz gets back to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hazam closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hazam lands in his opponent's guard. Diaz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hazam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Abdula Hazam overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hazam trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hazam showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Diaz landing heel shots to his opponent's back. Hazam not amused, grabs the leg and drops back, looking for a heel hook. Diaz doesn't react quick enough and Hazam cranks it - Diaz screams in pain and taps out! That was a really quick submission! Impressive stuff!
