Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Andrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateo Velez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velez has chosen Jefe-Daddy Yankee as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andrei Andrade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mateo Velez! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velez throws a nice looking combination but Andrade bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Velez tries to clinch but Andrade is having none of it. Andrade changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Velez tries to avoid it but Andrade manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Velez to the ground. Velez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Good shot there by Velez. Andrade closes the distance and clinches up with Velez, looking for a takedown. Andrade pushes Velez against the cage but Velez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Velez forces Andrade back against the cage and clinches. A hook to the body from Andrade.

Andrade closes this distance looking for a takedown but Velez circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei Andrade. That's going to take a lot out of him. Velez misses with a series of wild punches.
Velez looks to land a combination. Andrade sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Andrei Andrade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Andrade changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Velez tries to avoid it but Andrade manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Velez to the ground. Velez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Velez as Andrade shoots in. Andrade is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Andrade tries to clinch up and Velez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrade gets off balance looking for a body kick and Velez counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Velez. Velez unloads a knee to the mid-section. Andrade lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Velez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Velez wants to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Velez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Andrade tries to keep at a distance but Velez has taken the fight into the clinch. Velez unloads a knee to the mid-section. Andrade lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Andrade successfully pulls guard.
Velez trying to control the position from guard on top but Andrade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Velez stops Andrade from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Velez drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Velez as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Andrade screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Velez! Nice submission victory there!
