Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iain Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reilly is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dubliners - Fields of Athenry. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jake Blade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Iain Reilly! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blade tries to close the distance and clinch but Reilly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Blade throws an overhand right that lands on Reilly's shoulder, as Reilly tries to avoid the shot. Reilly sizes up Blade with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Reilly throws a hook but Blade avoids it easily. Blade moves in looking to clinch but Reilly pushes him off. Reilly misses with a two punch combination.
Blade is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Blade moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Iain Reilly has been cut. Blade closes the distance but Reilly moves to the side and Reilly counters with a takedown into side control. Reilly misses with an attempted head punch from side control. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Reilly working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Reilly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Reilly throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reilly trying to control the position but Blade is working away. Blade is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blade is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Blade wants to get back to his feet but Reilly drags him back down. Reilly in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Blade takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Blade is rocked! Reilly landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Oh Blade is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Blade knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reilly on the ground. Reilly in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Blade looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Reilly turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iain Reilly! A very excited looking Iain Reilly made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
