The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Force fails to land with a series of punches.
Force moves away from the strike by Hika.
Force is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Force takes a kick to the side of the head.
Force throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hika counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hika feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Force sprawling to the canvas! Force rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hika finish him?!
Force is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hika drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Force's head, knocking him out cold! Hika is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hongi Hika!
Hongi Hika retains his heavyweight title!
