The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phife changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Monstromento looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Phife scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Monstromento to see if he's OK.
It looks like Bartolomeus Monstromento has been cut.
Monstromento throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Phife wants to lay and pray for a moment but Monstromento keeps working.
Phife has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
