Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ekel Alfred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axo Lotl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alfred postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lotl is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Alfred, into his guard.

Lotl throws a lazy right hand but Alfred sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Alfred uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lotl.
Alfred displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lotl throws out the jab.
Axo Lotl is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Alfred drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lotl looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lotl looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lotl!

Alfred has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lotl is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Alfred.

Alfred has left one of his arms exposed and Lotl doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Alfred screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
