Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lyndon Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Hatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricky Hatt looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lyndon Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Hatt! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hatt drives through with a takedown into Perez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Hatt trying to control the position from guard on top but Perez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hatt has gone for a leg lock! Perez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hatt's guard.
Perez stands up from Hatt's guard - Perez perhaps looking for a knockout. Hatt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hatt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hatt scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Perez is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hatt looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hatt prevents Perez from standing back up.
Hatt is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Perez manages to get to full guard. Perez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Perez wants to stand but Hatt is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hatt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hatt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Perez wriggles free and stands up. Hatt closes the distance and clinches. Perez pulls guard. Hatt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Hatt stops Perez from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatt trying to control but Perez is working from the bottom. Hatt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Perez trying to control the position.
Hatt won't allow Perez to get back to his feet. Perez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Hatt has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Perez has Hatt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hatt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Perez fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Perez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hatt pulls him back up using the underhooks. Hatt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Perez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hatt to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hatt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Perez works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Perez wants to sweep here but Hatt controlling him for the moment. Perez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hatt defends well. Perez wants to get back to his feet but Hatt is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hatt throwing strikes from guard but Perez blocks nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hatt is stalling in the full guard. Perez looking for a sweep. Not yet Perez, not yet. Perez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Perez working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hatt. Perez looking to control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perez wants to stand but Hatt is controlling the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyndon Perez dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hatt tried to score with a low kick but Perez checks it. Hatt looking to score a takedown here. Perez is defending well but Hatt drives through and ends up in Perez's guard. Perez wants to get back to his feet but Hatt is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Perez manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Hatt ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hatt no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Perez scoring with punches to the head and body. Perez stands up from guard. Let's bang! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatt throws a hook to the side of Perez's head but Perez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hatt gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Hatt is breathing heavily. Hatt is pressed up against the cage. Perez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hatt down to the mat. Hatt avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A good leg kick by Hatt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Perez's guard. Perez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Hatt has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Perez has a couple of punches blocked by Hatt.
Hatt jumps into guard, dragging Perez to the mat.
Perez content to stall in guard here. Perez with a nice head shot there. Perez working some strikes from top position. Hatt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Perez lands a couple of elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perez landing some decent shots from guard. Perez gets to his feet - Hatt follows without any prompting. Hatt drives through with a takedown into Perez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Perez is pulling down on Hatt's head to control his posture. Perez keeping moving, preventing Hatt from controlling successfully. Perez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Perez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Perez lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatt looking for a sweep. Not yet Hatt, not yet. Perez stands up and waves to Hatt to follow him. Perez tries to clinch but Hatt moves out of range. Hatt unleashes a big counter combination but Perez bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Hatt drives through and clinches with Perez against the cage.
Perez lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Hatt gets underhooks to prevent Perez's takedown attempt.
Perez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hatt uses from the top position. Hatt stops Perez from standing up. Perez has his feet on Hatt's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Hatt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hatt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perez is trying to get back to his feet. Perez trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Lyndon Perez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hatt staying calm. Perez is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyndon Perez dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Hatt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Perez. Perez has Hatt up against the cage in a clinch.
Perez wants a takedown.
Hatt with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Perez tries for a takedown but Hatt manages to get underhooks.
Perez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hatt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyndon Perez. Hatt instigates a clinch. Perez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hatt smiles and moves away.

Perez wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Hatt misses with a wild body shot. Perez tries to keep at a distance but Hatt has taken the fight into the clinch. Hatt is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Perez can't fight it off and eventually Hatt manages to take the fight to the floor. Perez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Perez manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Hatt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hatt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Perez's guard. Perez has his feet on Hatt's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Perez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hatt bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Perez throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Lyndon Perez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hatt throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Perez's head. Perez tries to clinch and Hatt counters with a lovely straight right hand! Hatt scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Hatt is trying to control. Perez wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perez manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Hatt keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Hatt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hatt moves into the clinch successfully.
Perez lands a shoulder strike. Perez gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hatt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hatt can do anything to dispel that myth. Hatt keeps trying to improve his position. Perez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ground and pound from Perez.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hatt has hold of Perez's hands but Perez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Perez working over Hatt with some ground and pound. Hatt looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Perez lands strikes from half guard. Perez lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Perez working the head and body with strikes. Perez working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Perez winds up and cracks Hatt with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hatt is defending against the submission attempts here by Perez.
Perez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Perez seems to be working for a kimura but Hatt defends the submission attempt. Ricky Hatt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lyndon Perez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Perez wants to take a breather but Hatt is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Lyndon Perez showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Perez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
