The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Julyfeather misses with a wild body shot.
Dithmer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dithmer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Julyfeather defends it nicely.
Julyfeather throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Julyfeather clobbers Dithmer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Julyfeather throws a right and a left that Dithmer avoids nicely.
Julyfeather leaves Dithmer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crimson Dithmer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dithmer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Julyfeather avoids it really well and circles away.

A little jabbing left from Julyfeather on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Dithmer tries to close the distance and clinch but Julyfeather swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Julyfeather counters with a nice uppercut.
Dithmer tries for a takedown but Julyfeather sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dithmer throws a lazy body kick
and Julyfeather counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dithmer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Julyfeather pinned against the cage. Julyfeather gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dithmer wants to clinch

and Julyfeather counters with a nice right hand that sends Dithmer toppling to the canvas! Dithmer scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Julyfeather finish him?!

Dithmer is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dithmer tries to clinch but Julyfeather moves out of range.
Dithmer fails to land the takedown.
Julyfeather now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Julyfeather lands a big uppercut and Dithmer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dithmer looks OK. Julyfeather waves Dithmer back to his feet!
Oh Dithmer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dithmer darts in looking for a takedown but Julyfeather gets double underhooks and turns Dithmer into the cage.
Dithmer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Julyfeather paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Julyfeather shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Dithmer takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Julyfeather sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Dithmer bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

George Julyfeather was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
