The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharpshooter cracks Kirkland with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kirkland looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sharpshooter finish him?
Kirkland is rocked!
It looks like Henry Kirkland has been cut.
Sharpshooter clinches with his opponent.
Kirkland is still on wobbly legs! Can Sharpshooter finish him?
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kirkland has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kirkland goes for a takedown attempt but Sharpshooter pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kirkland shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sharpshooter counters with a huge right that knocks Kirkland out cold! Sharpshooter is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
