Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hank Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Vlasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hicks's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eatin P**** & Kickin A**. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hank Hicks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roman Vlasov! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hicks instigates a clinch. Hicks works on Vlasov's body with a couple of short punches. Hicks has Vlasov pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hicks pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Vlasov tumbling to the mat - Hicks dives into Vlasov's guard. Hicks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hicks trying to control the position from guard on top but Vlasov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vlasov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hicks is one step ahead there. Hicks has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Vlasov is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Hicks presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Hicks lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Vlasov. Hicks throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Hicks breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hicks has managed to clinch.
Hicks lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Hicks thows a huge punch but Vlasov dodges it nicely.
Vlasov keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Vlasov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hicks's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hicks's back! Vlasov lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Hicks.
Vlasov is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Hicks wants to get back to his feet. The referee is taking a good look at Hicks as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Vlasov!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hicks is trying to get back to his feet but Vlasov has full control of the position and if anything, Hicks has just worked his way into a worse spot. This has been an exciting period of action! Vlasov punches Hicks on the ear. Vlasov lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Hicks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vlasov on the ground. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Vlasov's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Vlasov lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Vlasov.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vlasov is punishing Hicks with some ground and pound. Vlasov connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Hicks to escape the position.
Hicks covers up after that shot from Vlasov.
Hicks is rocked! Vlasov lands a series of strikes from the back and Hicks goes limp! The ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roman Vlasov! After winning the bout, Roman Vlasov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
