Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ McNee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masters comes to the cage accompanied by The Masterpiece. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, AJ McNee!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters throws a left and a right that both miss
and McNee counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Masters displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Masters connects with a leg kick. McNee looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Masters fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McNee.
McNee lands a lovely overhand right.


It looks like Chris Masters has been cut.
McNee throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McNee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Masters with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
McNee looks to land a left hand but Masters moved out of range nicely.
Masters throws a series of punches but McNee moves out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McNee scores with a sloppy right hand. Masters should have avoided that one.
McNee stuns Masters with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Masters looks to land a combination. McNee sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
McNee avoids a punch combination nicely.
McNee misses with an uppercut. Masters saw that one coming.
Masters throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McNee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Masters throws a nice looking combination but McNee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McNee throws a jab but it's blocked by Masters.
Masters throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling McNee to counter with a crisp jab.
Masters misses with a combination
and Masters takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chris Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Masters falls off balance throwing a combination
and McNee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Masters is breathing heavily.
A low kick from Masters misses
and McNee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McNee might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McNee checks a leg kick.
McNee stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Masters.
McNee is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Masters had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Masters misses with a leg kick
and McNee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Masters ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Masters ducks under a wild hook from McNee.
McNee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Masters misses with a jab, cross combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Masters misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A little jabbing left from McNee on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Masters takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
McNee looks to land a left hand but Masters moved out of range nicely.
Masters keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Masters throws a big counter combination but McNee scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
McNee feints a jab promting Masters to slip. McNee then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Masters slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
McNee lands a nice shot that snaps Masters's head back.


Masters is rocked!
A jab from McNee misses.
McNee fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Masters to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Masters looks to clinch but McNee throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Masters taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). AJ McNee!
