Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Snap Pop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and White Halfoat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White Halfoat is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, White Halfoat! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Halfoat looks to land a right hand but Pop moved out of range. Halfoat misses with a double jab.
No luck for Pop with that takedown attempt. Halfoat throws a nice looking combination but Pop bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Halfoat scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pop in his tracks. Halfoat catches Pop with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Pop fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Halfoat connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Decent striking displayed by Halfoat there. Halfoat lands with an overhand left. Halfoat throws a good cross that connects.

Halfoat tries to bum rush Pop with a series of wild strikes but Pop uses good footwork to avoid the assault. White Halfoat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Halfoat finds it's way through Pop's defenses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut there from Halfoat. A decent looking cross lands there for Halfoat. Halfoat pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Halfoat throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pop slips a straight right by Halfoat. Pop shoots for a double leg takedown but Halfoat sprawls well. He's pushed Pop's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Halfoat paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Halfoat scores with the left hand. Pop knows he should have avoided that one. Halfoat throws a hook but Pop blocks it. Halfoat stuffs the takedown. White Halfoat is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Halfoat punishes Pop's body with a nice straight punch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pop walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Halfoat lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Nice sprawl there from Halfoat as Pop shoots in. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jab, jab by Halfoat - just one landing. Halfoat throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pop on the side of the head. Halfoat rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pop moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pop has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Halfoat lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pop backs up against the cage.
Halfoat throws a right and a left that both miss. Halfoat connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Halfoat lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Halfoat lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Halfoat throws out a loose jab but Pop uses good head movement to avoid it. Pop uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Halfoat. Halfoat is breathing heavily. Danga de danga de dang - Halfoat scores with a four punch combination! Halfoat throws a series of punches but Pop moves out of range. Halfoat misses the jab. Pop shoots in but no luck this time.

Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pop has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Halfoat bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Pop gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Pop looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Pop walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Pop takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Halfoat darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Pop misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. White Halfoat seems to be getting the better of the standup. Halfoat throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Halfoat wants to get back to his feet but Pop drags him back down. Snap Pop has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pop wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Halfoat, who protects the arm well. Pop prevents Halfoat from escaping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pop thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Pop wants to control but Halfoat is keeping him busy. Pop wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Halfoat, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pop is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Halfoat is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Halfoat is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Pop goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Halfoat has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pop but great work by Halfoat. Pop pushes Halfoat away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Halfoat gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Pop tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Halfoat stands up. Pop closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Halfoat with a jab. Halfoat stuffs the takedown. Halfoat lands a jab to the nose. Halfoat scores with a hook. Halfoat fails to land with a series of punches.
