Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Igor Laponov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wyatt Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laponov comes to the cage accompanied by Oxxxymiron - Where we don't have. Wyatt Storm will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Igor Laponov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wyatt Storm! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storm is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Laponov's half guard. Laponov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Storm trying to control from half guard but Laponov is working away. Storm is pressing down on Laponov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Laponov is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Laponov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Storm pulls his head out easily. Laponov actively working from the bottom here. Laponov is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Laponov wants to get back to full guard. Laponov wants to control but Storm is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laponov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Laponov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Storm is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Laponov is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Storm trying to control from half guard but Laponov is working away. Laponov tries to get to full guard but Storm has control of the leg. Laponov looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Laponov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Storm pulls his head out easily. Laponov trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Laponov manages to get to full guard.
Storm has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Laponov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Storm is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Laponov pulls down on the head and he's put Storm to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Igor Laponov! Our winner, Igor Laponov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
