Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Igor Laponov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wyatt Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laponov comes to the cage accompanied by Oxxxymiron - Where we don't have. Wyatt Storm will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Laponov's half guard.
Laponov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Storm trying to control from half guard but Laponov is working away.
Storm is pressing down on Laponov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Laponov is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Laponov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Storm pulls his head out easily.

Laponov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Laponov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Storm is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Laponov manages to get to full guard.
Storm has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Laponov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Storm is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Laponov pulls down on the head and he's put Storm to sleep! This one is all over!

Our winner, Igor Laponov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
