Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Randy Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John PercivalH!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller swinging wildly here.
PercivalH throws a predictable looking body shot
and Miller counters with a nice kick to the body.
Miller throws a leg kick which misses PercivalH's front leg but catches the back leg as PercivalH tries to avoid it.
Miller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. PercivalH defends it nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Miller, as that shot connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
PercivalH throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miller is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from PercivalH.
Miller is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch but PercivalH swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Miller has a takedown stuffed.
Miller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. PercivalH tries to avoid it but Miller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag PercivalH to the ground. PercivalH escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Miller closes the distance and clinches up with PercivalH, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes PercivalH against the cage but PercivalH circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Miller gets caught flat footed, as PercivalH shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
PercivalH with a flurry of punches that miss.
PercivalH connects with a couple of short punches.
PercivalH has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
PercivalH trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

PercivalH postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Miller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
PercivalH is in close to Miller's body, working some short punches and elbows.
PercivalH won't allow Miller to sweep him here.
Miller wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and PercivalH is now in half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

PercivalH working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Miller is refusing to be controlled, as PercivalH sits in half guard.
PercivalH not doing much here.

PercivalH is looking to take a break and control but Miller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
PercivalH slips a nice elbow through Miller's hands, connecting with Miller's forehead.
PercivalH performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Miller is staying active underneath PercivalH, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
PercivalH takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.


It looks like Randy Miller has been cut.
PercivalH is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
PercivalH lands with a punch from half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
PercivalH drops an elbow to the side of Miller's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John PercivalH dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Miller controls PercivalH momentarily but PercivalH frees himself.
PercivalH stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard.
PercivalH distracts Miller with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
PercivalH controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
PercivalH works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Miller has hold of PercivalH's hands but PercivalH slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
PercivalH lands strikes from half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Miller on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
PercivalH is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.


Miller is rocked!
PercivalH is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Miller is hurt! He's hurt bad - PercivalH fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Miller from any more punishment! Congratulations to PercivalH! Great finish!
