The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Eliza Hachem and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ventura fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Singh was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ventura has a couple of punches blocked by Singh.
Singh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Singh stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ventura.

Singh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ventura shoots in and drives through. Singh sprawls well.

Ventura throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ventura throws a left and a right that both miss
and Singh counters with a good low kick that Ventura was not able to check.
Ventura stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Singh catches Ventura with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Singh throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Ventura to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Singh ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Anthony Ventura will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ventura throws a right and a left that Singh avoids nicely.
Ventura lands with an uppercut that bounces Singh off the cage and back into range.

Ventura throws an uppercut from hell that sends Singh clean off his feet! He's out cold! Ventura stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
