Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rolen Spliffs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Byrd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spliffs's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ice Cube - Smoke Some Weed. Byrd has chosen "Rough Riders" By DMX as his entrance music. Mario Byrd struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Rolen Spliffs is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byrd clinches up with Spliffs and pushes him back against the cage.
Byrd dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Spliffs wants to get back to striking at distance but Byrd won't allow it.
Spliffs is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Byrd looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Spliffs tries to hold on but Byrd postures up.

Spliffs tries to reverse the position but Byrd maintains control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Byrd is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Spliffs has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Spliffs is working to get back to half guard.
Byrd wants to take his opponent's back but Spliffs doesn't allow it.
Spliffs is wriggling around trying to escape.

Spliffs bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Spliffs controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Byrd can't keep his opponent in guard - Spliffs advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Spliffs is pressing down on Byrd's thigh, looking to free his foot. Byrd is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spliffs is looking to take a break and control but Byrd is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Byrd tries to roll over but Spliffs keeps him under control.
Spliffs wants to take a breather but Byrd is having none of it.
Spliffs escapes and gets back to his feet.
Byrd misses with a takedown attempt - Spliffs sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Spliffs lands a jab to the nose.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rolen Spliffs will probably get the nod.
That's time! Spliffs's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Spliffs lunges at Byrd with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Byrd's hand.
Spliffs jabs Byrd right on the nose. Byrd blinks but takes it well.
Byrd swings for the body but Spliffs moves out of range.
Byrd is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Spliffs.
Spliffs throws a shot from downtown. Byrd moves away and avoids it.
Spliffs lands with a big left! Byrd is wobbled badly! Spliffs comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Byrd to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rolen Spliffs!
