PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antero Vasara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chinggis Khaan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasara has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khaan drives through and clinches with Vasara against the cage.
Khaan lands a right hand that snaps the head of Vasara backwards.
A left hand lands to the body for Khaan.
Khaan lands a left hand.
Khaan misses with some punches.
Vasara is trying to break the clinch but Khaan has him pressed against the cage.
Khaan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Vasaras head.
Vasara misses with a short punch on the inside.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Khaan.
Vasara is breathing heavily.
Vasara has a couple of punches blocked by Khaan.
Vasara wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Khaan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Vasara blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A short right from Khaan on the inside.
Vasara takes an elbow to the temple.
Khaan lands a shoulder strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vasara is rocked!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Khaan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Oh Vasara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Khaan pushes Vasara back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Khaan prevents a body shot from Vasara.
Khaan swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Vasara fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Khaan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Khaan throws a big uppercut that drops Vasara! More strikes from Khaan and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Vasara lies dazed against the cage as Khaan celebrates with his cornermen!

After winning the bout, Chinggis Khaan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
