The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McSwizzer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McSwizzer scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
McSwizzer fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
David McSwizzer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McSwizzer with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
McSwizzer stalks Mana and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mana's face. Mana staggers backwards, shaken.

McSwizzer moves into the clinch.
McSwizzer manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
McSwizzer lands a body punch in the clinch.
McSwizzer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mana.

McSwizzer breaks the clinch.

Mana shoots in for a double leg but McSwizzer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
McSwizzer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mana momentarily.

McSwizzer forces Mana back against the cage and clinches.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from McSwizzer.

Mana shoots for a takedown but McSwizzer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

McSwizzer pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mana back to the cage. McSwizzer follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Mana shoots in looking for a takedown but McSwizzer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mana's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

McSwizzer lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Mana jumps guard and drags McSwizzer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Mana controls McSwizzer momentarily but McSwizzer frees himself.
McSwizzer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Mana tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mana is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McSwizzer is controlling him.
Mana can't keep his opponent in guard - McSwizzer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
McSwizzer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
McSwizzer trying to pass the guard but Mana defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mana can do anything to dispel that myth.

McSwizzer gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

McSwizzer clinches.

Mana pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Left hook, right uppercut from McSwizzer.
McSwizzer avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David McSwizzer dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Mana shoots in for a takedown but McSwizzer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mana chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McSwizzer can pounce on him.
McSwizzer lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
McSwizzer throws a one two combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mana falls off balance throwing a combination
and McSwizzer counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

McSwizzer pushes Mana up against the cage in a clinch.

Mana changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McSwizzer fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mana steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from McSwizzer. That one must have hurt.
McSwizzer throws a one two combo.

McSwizzer is working the combinations to good effect here.

Mana takes a kick to the side of the head.
Mana shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McSwizzer as he jumps to the side.

Mana shoots in but McSwizzer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Horrible takedown attempt by Mana or perhaps it was just good defense by McSwizzer, which made it look bad.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mana tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McSwizzer swivels and escapes.
Mana is breathing heavily.
McSwizzer moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
McSwizzer scores with a one two! Mana had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Mana gets tackled into the cage by McSwizzer. McSwizzer maintains the clinch.

McSwizzer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mana fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McSwizzer feints a jab promting Mana to slip. McSwizzer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mana slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David McSwizzer dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and McSwizzer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McSwizzer throws a one two combo.
Mana shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mana shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McSwizzer defends it nicely.

Mana gets tackled into the cage by McSwizzer. McSwizzer maintains the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McSwizzer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice takedown defense from McSwizzer. No joy for Mana on that attempt.

McSwizzer is struggling to control the position.
McSwizzer leaning against his opponent.
McSwizzer gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
McSwizzer's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Mana tries to stall but McSwizzer uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Mana has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McSwizzer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Mana is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McSwizzer to keep the fight standing.

McSwizzer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

McSwizzer closes the distance and clinches.

McSwizzer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McSwizzer lands with a slapping head kick.
Mana tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and McSwizzer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
McSwizzer connects with a body shot that sends Mana's belly button to the back.
Horrible takedown attempt by Mana or perhaps it was just good defense by McSwizzer, which made it look bad.
A little feinted left hand from McSwizzer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

McSwizzer lands a two punch combo.
McSwizzer throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
McSwizzer lands with a good body shot.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mana takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

McSwizzer drives through and clinches with Mana against the cage.
Mana wants a takedown but no success here.
Mana drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Keoki Mana has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
David McSwizzer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Mana doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Well McSwizzer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
