Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kato Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden has chosen Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden tries to clinch up but Hanzo circles away and keeps his distance.

Hanzo slips a jab and a cross from Durden.
Hanzo looks to throw the jab but Durden is out of range.

Durden moves in looking to clinch but Hanzo pushes him off.
Hanzo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Durden.
Durden doesn't manage to clinch there - Hanzo circles away.

and Hanzo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Durden has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hanzo uses from the top position.

Hanzo is working for a kimura but Durden is defending it quite comfortably.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Hanzo counters with a series of strikes. Durden will be more careful next time no doubt.

Hanzo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Durden is looking for a triangle but Hanzo pushes his legs off easily.

Hanzo uses his free foot to push down on Durden's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Durden.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hanzo is working for a submission of some sort.
Durden has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Hanzo. Oh but Durden has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Hanzo goes limp - he's gone! Durden jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
