Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Miguel Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hipster Canuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hipster Canuck will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miguel Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hipster Canuck!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jordan instigates a clinch.
Jordan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Canuck misses with some punches.
Our sources have told us that Jordan has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Canuck keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jordan's efforts to push away.
Canuck works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Canuck swings wildly with an uppercut but Jordan uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jordan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Canuck tries to keep at a distance but Jordan has taken the fight into the clinch.
Canuck lands with a left to the head.
A nice left hand lands by Canuck.


It looks like Miguel Jordan has been cut.
Canuck struggles to land a body shot inside as Jordan controls his hands.
Jordan using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Canuck has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Jordan tries a knee to the head but Canuck blocks it.

Jordan blocks an uppercut.
Canuck misses with a hook from the clinch.

Canuck misses with some punches.
A nice left hand lands by Canuck.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Canuck tries to throw a body punch but Jordan avoids it by throwing Canuck back against the ropes.

Jordan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Miguel Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jordan tries to clinch but Canuck is having none of it.
Jordan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jordan gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Jordan clinches.
Jordan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Canuck blocks it with crossed arms.
Canuck scores with a shot to the side of Jordan's head.
Jordan is trying to push Canuck away but Canuck has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
A short body shot lands from Canuck as the two fighters clinch.
Jordan blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Jordan blocks an uppercut.
Canuck gets through Jordan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Jordan.
A head punch on the inside from Canuck fails to land.
Jordan tries to land a knee to the head but Canuck blocks with his arms.
Canuck tries a body shot but Jordan blocks it.
Canuck lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Canuck throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jordans head.
Jordan tries a knee to the head but Canuck blocks it.
Canuck has a couple of punches blocked by Jordan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Canuck misses with a short punch on the inside.
Canuck has Jordan pressed against the ropes, preventing Jordan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Canuck on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Jordan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Canuck struggles to land a body shot inside as Jordan controls his hands.
Canuck has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Jordan seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Canuck can turn it around.

Jordan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Canuck tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Jordan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Canuck stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Canuck lands with a cross.
Canuck lands with a straight right. Jordan didn't see that one coming.
Canuck getting the better of the striking in that exchange.


Jordan is rocked!
Hipster Canuck is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jordan walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Hipster Canuck!
Hipster Canuck decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
